This collection, assembled by Elsie McPhee during her time spent working in Dawson City, Yukon (Canada) on a birch syrup farm, documents the lifestyles of Dawson's gold panners and mining community members shortly after WWII, when what is traditionally known as the "Gold Rush" era was long since past.
