Fonds consists of records relating to the life and work of the artist and author Charles William Jefferys. It includes the artist’s correspondence, notebooks, research materials and manuscripts of his written work. Also included in this fonds are the research materials compiled by Robert Stacey, the artist’s grandson, about all aspects of the life and work of Jefferys, including information on all Jefferys’ writings and art, articles and reviews published by and about Jefferys, as well as information about the artist’s personal life, professional activities and travels. Stacey also conducted research on the Jefferys family history. The collection consists of newspaper articles, reproductions, illustrations, exhibition notices and invitations, death notices, photographs and biographical notes on 112 Canadian artists (birthdates 1803 to 1915) and four arts organizations: Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour, Ontario Society of Artists, Royal Canadian Academy of Arts, and Toronto Art Students’ League.

Whatmough to her daughter, Annie Louise Gallagher, dated 1904, wedding invitations and funeral a programme, as well as Gallagher and Whatmough family trees compiled by Howard Gallagher (1887-1997), a Whatmough Family History compiled by Janet (Whatmough) Cureton in 1974, and a 1932 yearbook of the Ontario Agricultural College and Macdonald Institute (Guelph). Included is a typescript, "Greenwood Farm", by Grant A. Whatmough, 1976 (225 pages). There are 80 photographs. Some had labels or inscriptions, others were identified with the assistance of Grant A. Fonds consists of a household inventory of antique furniture, china, art, coins, military artifacts, geological and natural history specimens, rare books and family documents owned by Robert William Geary and family of Niagara Falls, Ontario.
